I started treatment with Dr. Gary Thomson in November 2023.  I was struggling with dizziness which included nausea.  I have never been much of a believer in Chiropractors, but a friend had highly recommended Dr. Thomson and I was willing to try.  After an extensive first visit of measurements and questions, Dr. Thomson started treating me. After the first treatment I thought I felt a bit better.  After the second, I did feel better! And now, I have none of the vertigo issues when I started. As well, the pain I had been dismissing for so long is very reduced.  I have had TMJ for decades, unable to chew food on one side. My experience with Dr. Thompson has been very, very good. I was sitting at a stop sign and was rear ended into another vehicle in front of me and had violent double whiplash which led to all sorts of bizarre symptoms and pain. My physiotherapist and acupuncturist both suggested that I see Dr. Thompson as well. (In particular, my physio could tell that my Atlas bone was not in the correct position.)  So I booked an appt and went see Dr. Thompson. To start, he takes X-rays of your upper cervical spine to determine exactly what is going on, which was really huge for me. Low and behold, after the X-rays were taken, Dr. Thompson  showed me what and where I was having issues. You actually get to see the X-rays with your own eyes! He then does his treatment and I cannot emphasize enough that there is NO CRACKING of your neck, which I was not going to let happen.  I don't know how to explain what he does, because it's very subtle (look it up on youtube!) After this first treatment, he takes another X-ray right away, so that he can show you where the change has been made. I continued to do treatments weekly for about 6 weeks and then every two weeks and now we're at once a month and I can feel my symptoms slowly waning and I am slowly getting stronger. Neck injuries like mine can take a long time and can be frustrating and I am very grateful to have Dr. Thompson on my recovery team! Thank you Dr. Thompson!

In May of 2019, at 75, I had just retired from an 11 year employment situation. In Reality, My body and mind were 'tired'... but I felt they were  entitled to be, considering my journey - and figured 'I was in pretty good shape for the shape I'm in'. For about 30 years, my primary health support (and financial outlay) was continuous chiropractic  adjustments. In May of 2020, after hearing a few interesting reviews about something called NUCCA, I decided to accompany a friend who was going for a treatment. Long story short,  I observed, listened, asked questions, and spent a couple of hours researching online after I got home. With only a pension and a quarterly GST deposit as a source of income, I asked myself one question,.... "At this time in my life, considering my health issues, Where do I see myself in 5 years?" Without further delay, I decided to enter into a partnership with Gary. He knew his 'stuff', and I knew my responsibilities in daily 'protecting my Mind/Body/Soul investment'. Today, in June of 2023, thanks to my investment in my Self,  my health, well being, happiness, and mostly my Quality Of Life! (as well as an occasional few dollars from my GST when I mess up and have to call Gary to 'Put my head on straight'),  I'm a much better version of Me, and joyfully anticipate my continued journey and a tentative '20+ year plan' ;) .

Gary Thompson is a chiropractic wizard! I've been suffering from chronic vertigo for 25 years, seen countless doctors,specialists, and alternative medicine to come away with them all scratching their heads not being able to figure out this life altering chronic condition, and give me some relief! and then Gary Thompson (the nicest guy you'll ever meet) was reccomended to me. I've been going for 2 months now and this is the longest I've gone without a flare up! Seriously this form of Chiropractic should be more well known! Been so pleasantly surprising by Dr. Thompson! I have had so much alignment issues and nerve pain past 2 years. I had gone to LifeWorks chiro a year ago three times a week for 5 months, and no change at all. When i was referred to him i was skeptical about seeing another chiro, feeling skeptical of the whole profession based on my experience. Within 8 to 10 weeks of one time a week, my head is on way straighter (can see it in the xrays) and function is continuing to improve and pain going down. Highly recommen coming here!

I struggle with Trigeminal Neuralgia, it has sent me into debilitating days with pain, there are times I can’t open my eye and I just want to crawl into a hole due to the pain.  I have been seeing Dr. Thomson for a few months now and I don’t have those days! The pain I have is still there but it is manageable! If you suffer with the condition, please consider this treatment. Dr Thomson is excellent!  I would be suffering from low back pain, stiff neck,  headaches etc were it not for this amazing treatment! I am pain free and active at 72!
